Dr. J J Mathew

Pulmonology

Dr. J. J Mathew is one of the leading pulmonologists, with more than 20 years of experience. He did his basic medical training at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by postgraduate training in Respiratory Medicine at the Institute of Chest Diseases, Kozhikode. He completed attachments in critical care at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, UK, and lung transplantation at Harefield Hospital in London, during his higher specialist training. Dr. J. J Mathew has served as a consultant in the UK, at Darlington Memorial Hospital, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, in addition to Aster Medcity, Kochi. He has extensive experience in bronchoscopy and is also trained in EBUS and interventional pleural procedures. He has published a number of articles in both national and international journals, demonstrating his exceptional dedication to research and learning.
