A doctor with specialisation in the diagnosis and care of conditions affecting the ear, nose, and throat as well as other structures of the head and neck is known as an otolaryngologist. Otolaryngologists are sometimes known as ENT specialists.

An average of one to two ear infections per year occur in children under three. These happen when fluid is trapped in the middle ear as a result of a bacterial or viral infection. Because their Eustachian tubes are still developing and small, young children are particularly vulnerable to swelling and obstructions.

Most ear infections will heal on their own in a week or so. Warm compresses, eardrops, and over-the-counter drugs can all be used to treat pain. Antibiotics can be taken if it is bacterial infection is the cause as per instructions from the doctor. Ear tubes may help children who have recurrent ear infections.

Snoring is typical that can happen due to the tissues of the throat vibrates, snoring develops. It may be beneficial to make lifestyle adjustments like losing weight, switching to a side sleep position, and avoiding alcohol before bed. Surgery is another possibility. The dangerous medical condition obstructive sleep apnea is frequently linked to snoring.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which a person's breathing ceases regularly while sleeping. These episodes can last ten seconds or longer and might happen hundreds of times per night, inhibiting restorative sleep and causing daytime weariness, irritability, and memory or concentration issues. OSA raises the risk of heart attack, stroke, hypertension, and diabetes. We collaborate with other medical and dental specialists to provide a wide range of therapies, including CPAP, mouth appliances, and a number of cutting-edge operations.
