Dr. Antony Paul Chettupuzha is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology with over 22 years of extensive clinical expertise. He is widely recognized for his proficiency in performing and supervising a comprehensive spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.
A pioneer in his field, Dr. Chettupuzha introduced Double Balloon Enteroscopy to South India in 2007 and has since performed more than 1,000 of these complex interventions, in addition to over 1,500 Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures and more than 200 Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasounds (EUS). He also brings unmatched experience in Abdominal and GI Ultrasound, conducting over 2,000 examinations annually for the past two decades.
His areas of special expertise include Endoscopic Palliation for advanced GI cancers and neurological conditions, as well as the management of challenging cases in Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and Pancreato-biliary Disorders.
In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Chettupuzha has made noteworthy contributions to medical research and multicentre clinical trials, with numerous publications in leading national and international journals.
