Dr. Deepthi Madhu

With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the healthcare sector, Dr. Deepthi Madhu is a distinguished Consultant Microbiologist and Head of Infection Control at Apollo Adlux Hospital. Her career spans clinical microbiology, infection prevention, and healthcare quality management.

Armed with international credentials including CPHQ®️ (USA), CIC®️ (USA), and EMPH (University of Virginia), Dr. Deepthi is a passionate advocate of antimicrobial stewardship and risk management in healthcare. She has actively contributed to infection control practices, especially in high-risk settings, and is known for her leadership in diagnostic stewardship initiatives. She also serves as an External Assessor with the American Accreditation Commission International (AACI), contributing her expertise in healthcare quality and infection control to global accreditation standards

Her academic journey includes an MBBS from KMC Mangalore and MD in Microbiology from PSG Coimbatore, followed by globally reputed certifications that add depth to her clinical and administrative expertise. With a firm belief in continuous learning, Dr. Deepthi has also completed the GCSRT program from Harvard Medical School, equipping her with contemporary skills in clinical research and translational medicine.
