He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Sree Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry. He completed MBBS followed by MS, DNB and Mch in Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. Also, senior Residency in Academic Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), where he gained expertise in Heart Transplants, Adult and Pediatric Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeries, Congenital Cardiac Surgeries, Beating Heart Bypass Surgery (CABG), Aortic Aneurysm Surgery, Valve Surgery, and All Cyanotic and Acyanotic Heart Ailments, including ASD, VSD, PDA, TAPVC, Ebstein, Coarctation, TOF (Intra-Cardiac Repair), ASO, Senning for TGAs, and Single Ventricle Repairs (BD Glenn and Fontan).
