Dr. Remesh Kumar R

Paediatrics & Paediatric Surgery

With over 28 years of experience in the field, Dr. Remesh Kumar R is a highly skilled specialist in Paediatrics who has treated more than 6 lakhs of children in his professional career to date. Having had his basic medical schooling at Government Medical College, Kottayam, he completed MD in  Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Solapur.  He is currently serving as the Director of Medical Services as well as Senior Consultant & Head of the Department of Paediatrics  at Apollo Adlux Hospital.
Dr. Remesh Kumar has been bestowed with FRCPCH ( Fellow of Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health) as well as FIAP ( Fellow of Indian Academy of Pediatrics). 
Apart from these, he has been the  National President 2022 of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics , the representative body of 42000 Paediatricians of the country. He had earlier served as the National Secretary of this prestigious organization in 2018 & 2019 and also as the National President of the Environment and Child Health Chapter of IAP. He is currently active at international Pediatrics forums, as a Steering Committee Member of GAVI ( Global Alliance on Vaccines & Immunisation). 
Dr. Remesh Kumar has authored numerous papers in indexed journals and has been a Faculty in numerous paediatric conferences and a master trainer for several pediatric modules. He has contributed Editorial Services to many publications and textbooks, most importantly as the Chief Editor of the highly acclaimed Standard Treatment Guidelines in Pediatric Office Practice Book published in 2022.  Working in community Pediatrics, he has been a coordinator and trainer for Navajatha shishu suraksha Karyakram (NSSK) workshops of the Ministry of Health & Family welfare, as well as a faculty member for safe injection practice and family life education programs.
